It’s 1945 and H itler is dead.  The remai ning Nazi lead ership is  expected  to surrende r any day b ut not all N azis are in a greement.  When the guards of the ca stle turned POW prison, Castl e Itter, fle e their post, a g roup of Fren ch politi cal prisoners are forced  to defend themsel ves. Rum ors of a ro gue Nazi c aptain hel lbent on maint aining  the Third Reich threat en the lives of all the pr isoners at  Castle Itter.  With the help  of members of the Ger man resistance , a small  band of Amer ican soldi ers, and one S herman tank, Castl e Itter  makes its f inal stand i n the fin al hour of W W2.！
